AIIMS NORCET 5 Eligibility
Age Limit
Individuals between 21 to 30 years can apply. Age Relaxations apply as per AIIMS Norms.

Educational Qualification
1) Individuals Should have obtained B.Sc Nursing or Post Certificate B.Sc Nursing or B.Sc (Hons) Nursing from INC Recognized institutes.

2) Individuals should have obtained Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery from INC recognized institutes along with Two years clinical Exeperience in minimum 50 bedded hospitals.

This is the first time AIIMS has announced Two stages of Examination. Stage 1. NORCET Preliminary & Stage 2. NORCET Mains
Scheme of Examination
STAGE-01
- Total Questions: 100 (Multiple Choice)
- Total Marks- 100 Marks
- 20 MCQs related to General Knowledge & Aptitude & 80 MCQs related to the syllabus of Nursing course
- There will be 1/3 negative marks for each wrong answer
- Stage 1 is a qualifying exam to appear for Stage 2. NORCET Preliminary will not be used for deciding Merit/Rank for final selection.
- Passing Percentile: UR/EWS- 50%, OBC-45%, SC/ST-40%, PWD- Additional 5% relaxations will be given.
STAGE- 02
- Total Questions: 100 (Multiple Choice)
- Total Marks- 100 Marks
- Questions will aim to cover the entire syllabus of nursing. i.e. Scenario based questions for testing nursing skill and competency.
- Duration: 90 Minutes
- There will be 1/3 negative marks for each wrong answer
- Passing Percentile: UR/EWS- 50%, OBC-45%, SC/ST-40%, PWD- Additional 5% relaxations will be given.
